Trauma healing awareness conducted by WYEAHI with support from MCC

Women and Youth Empowerment for Advancement and Health Initiative (WYEAHI) with support from Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) integrated trauma healing awareness in the implementation of her project titled; Livelihood and Economic Empowerment for Internally Displaced Women Households in Girei L.G.A of Adamawa state, North East Nigeria and availed the services to the 300 selected and eligible IDP women of the target community. The training took place from the 8th of July, 2019 to the 3rd of August, 2019. The 300 women beneficiaries were split into ten (10) groups with thirty (30) women in each group. The healing process began as the beneficiaries shared their ordeal (accusation, counteraccusation, anger and bitterness).
